Right, here goes. As some of you may know we are currently taking part in Slice the Pie’s All Genres 8 showcase. What this basically amounts to is that the Kittys are competing with fifteen other bands worldwide for a sizable wad o’ cash (£15,000), to record an album.

With no intention of spamming or pestering you to vote for us, we humbly implore anyone who enjoys our music and has a minute or two to spare to go to slicethepie.com and give us a heads up. You can do this purely out of support for our band, which of course we would love, but for those of you who have a keen eye for investment, the opportunity is also there to buy Contracts and Backstage Passes i.e. shares in the success of any of the competing acts.

We must stress however that you are under NO obligation to pay any money- it need only be a matter of registering and voting.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give musicians a head start in the business, and we hope you’d like to see a Kitty and the Can Openers album as much as we’d like to record one! Voting ends on the 11th September so get crackin!
